SIHH 2014 Preview: 3 New IWC Aquatimer Watches
In keeping with recent tradition, IWC has put its marketing focus on one watch collection for 2014. This year, it’s the Aquatimer, the brand’s line of divers’ watches. Here are three new models in the revamped Aquatimer collection, which makes its full debut at January’s SIHH watch fair.In a press release for the new Aquatimer collection, IWC reveals that the 2014 Aquatimer watches will be distinguished by a new type of internal/external rotating bezel, will contain even more in-house IWC movements, and will feature a patented IWC bracelet quick-change system. (More info on the new designs and mechanisms for the 2014 Aquatimer collection is available here.) The collection also features several special-edition models devoted to the environmental organizations IWC supports, the Charles Darwin Foundation and the Cousteau Society. As its model name implies, the IWC Aquatimer 2000 (Ref. IW358002) is water-resistant to 2,000 meters, making it more than suitable for pro
TAG Heuer Goes Green with Solar Power
November 29 marked the beginning of construction at the TAG Heuer factories in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint, the Swiss Avant-Garde brand signed agreements with Swiss energy distributor Viteos, and with Planair, a Swiss consulting firm specialized in environmental issues, to equip the rooftops of its four buildings with solar panels. The decision to undertake the project came at the direction of President and CEO Jean-Christophe Babin following Leonardo DiCaprio's visit to the TAG Heuer factory in March this year. Leonardo visited the factory with an eye on everything that could be done to reduce our energy consumption said Babin. His factory visit in La Chaux-de-Fonds turned into an inspiring and creative environmental audit. Leonardo combined his environmental mind with a highly respectful approach toward our staff, making his visit an impactful highlight of TAG Heuer's 150th anniversary celebration. In reaching this decision, many aspe

Panerai Crown Unwound Suddenly?
Hi gurus of this forum.Would like to seek your kind advice. Was winding my Pam000 as usual today. Was midway winding it (not nearing the end), when suddenly the crown started to unwound itself and spun freely anti-clockwise. Tried winding it back again to the end, everything acted normally as it should. What is the hell is going on? I shook the watch but couldn't hear any loose parts i.e. just in case something broke.Any kind souls can advise me? Thanks in advance.
Fit Question
Would like some input on one of my previous watches before buying a new one. I had a BLNR and it felt ok on the wrist, maybe slightly larger, but not too crazy. When I look at it in pictures it seems the same, maybe a tad large, but not too large.I'm now considering a 36mm or DJ 41. Not 100% sold on the DJ41 as I think it will be closer in size to the GMT I had. Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk
