Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX 7 Watch
Jaeger-LeCoultre announces the seventh version of their Aston Martin automobile collaboration watches with the AMVOX 7 Chronograph. It marks eight years of working together with the auto maker on a watch which began with the kitschy idea of having a function that allows you to lock and unlock your Aston Martin car with a luxury watch. Moving forward, the AMVOX collection has become more of a Jaeger-LeCoultre racing themed sport timepiece range. The AMVOX collection has been one I am keenly aware of because if there is anything I like better than a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch, it is a modern looking sport Jaeger-LeCoultre watch. I don't love all the AMVOX family timepieces, but the new 7 is certainly a good looker. There are a couple of really cool features on the JLC AMVOX 7 Chronograph watch. First is the chronograph which uses the crystal as the chronograph pushers. This feature was actually introduced in 2005, but I like it better in the AMVOX 7. Here is how it works. First you'll see a l
Xetum Stinson Review
The Xetum Stinson is a watch that we've been curious about for quite some time.? Known for its uniquely minimal design and Swiss made credentials, it stands to reason that this is a watch that has received a rather positive response from the watch community.? And the Xetum brand itself is quite unique, but without trying too hard.? Located in San Francisco, the company is committed to not only quality design but also sustainable operations, having taken several steps to limit their environmental impact. So we were excited to receive a Stinson for a few weeks of wear and closer consideration.Case: Stainless SteelMovement: ETA 2824-2Dial: Off-whiteLume: YesLens: SapphireStrap: Brown Leather with cork liningWater Res.: 100MDimensions: 40mmThickness: 11mmLug Width: 20mmWarranty: 30 day return / 2 year movementPrice: $995CaseWhat will likely strike you first about the Stinson is its lugless case design – the case is round and the band connects to lugs hidden on its underside.?? Barn find
x-post from the omega forum (from July) where I initially asked for some more info about the following watches:This weekend I visited my parents when I noticed a speedmaster in my fathers watch box that I did not see before.Below you find the pictures. It still works and the dial and hands appear to be in great condition. My father told me he got it from my uncle some years back. Because he was under the impression that the watch did not run anymore - nor did he know the 'heritage' of a speedy he never wore it.After I told him the basics I knew about the watch and asked some members on another forum I visit (thanks mark020 for your replies) I know now it is from 1969 and it is an post moon. Off course one of my questions was if he had the b/p.Yesterday he asked my uncle, who told him he unfortunately did not have the b/p but he did had another omega watch he never wore.To my surprise it was a 2 tone speedy (pics below). Even in a better condition, with box and it runs after winding (st

Oysterclasp replacement cost
Hi all, As the title states, was wondering if anyone has had any experience in replacing a clasp and how much the associated cost would be. I'm referring to an official Rolex quote at service, not including the actual service cost. For the record, I'm considering having the clasp of my 116520 replaced as the blades have become deformed and seems no watch maker will touch it. Thanks and hoping to receive insightful replies
