Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde SW Now Available in 6 New Steel Versions
Jaquet Droz’s Grande Seconde SW watch collection, the sportier cousins of the brand’s well-known Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde models, expands this year, with six new models in steel cases, offering two different case sizes and three contemporary color schemes. The Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde SW derives its name from its off-center “figure eight” dial design, with a prominent seconds subdial in the bottom half intersecting a smaller, hours-and-minutes subdial in the top half. (The “SW” in the model name marks it as the “sports watch” version of the original, more elegant Grande Seconde watch. The new watches, which are available at retailers now, are offered in two case sizes 45-mm-diameter and, for the first time in this line, 41-mm diameter and a trio of dial colors that include gray, anthracite gray, and blue, all with matching alligator leather straps. The prices for all six new Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde SW watches are the same: $14,7

Aquanaut Toughness?
How tough is the Aquanaut?I was a long-time wannabe PP owner until I finally bought a 5127J last year. After owning just Rolex watches, I've wanted that Calatrava for a while because I think it is very refined. Now I have the sickness. PP's are worse than Lay's. You know you can't have just one. I was/am a Rolex wearer and own several. I've slowly started giving them away to family members. Now that I'm middle-aged and don't have fantasies of living a life of action and adventure and am a family man, the appeal of Rolex is diminishing while that of PP is growing. So my question to everyone here: How tough is the Aquanaut? Would you say it is as robust as the Submariner? Can it take a beating? By which I mean travel, some diving (not below 60M...it is a diving watch after all), carrying stuff (kids, boxes, usual rubbish), and normal day to day wear. I'm not a Navy Seal or anything like that. I'm not going to be jumping out of planes and rolling around in hand to hand combat
Explorer 1 has landed!
I've been on the hunt for an Explorer I in excellent condition with Box and Papers for a while now. I was anxiously watching the prices rise slowly, and thinking I won't find the deal I'm looking for any time soon. Then I was browsing the classifieds and found exactly what I was looking for, a FULL SET Explorer I in gorgeous condition. I pulled the trigger immediately. (Even came with the original hangtags)I would like to give a huge shoutout to Takuya. This was my first transaction with him, and I could not be more pleased. The watch and all the accessories where well packaged when they arrived, the watch was in the exact (beautiful) condition as in the pictures. Furthermore he was a pleasure to communicate with and answered all my emails in an extremely timely fashion. I will not hesitate to do businesses with this great seller again, and can wholeheartedly recommend him.Now to a wrist shot, as no incoming is complete without it!Best, LukaP.S: How can I upload High Quality pictures?
