Lew & Huey Cerberus Hands-On
Young, internet-born watch brand Lew & Huey has had a number of successful runs on Kickstarter, launching a total of five watches from the platform. Their first was the Riccardo automatic chronograph (which we reviewed here) followed by the Acionna, Spectre, Cerberus and most recently the Orthos. In this Hands-On we will be spending some time with their fourth model, the Cerberus. The model name is an interesting one, coming from Greek and Roman mythology. The Cerberus is a multi-headed dog (often depicted with three heads) with lion's claws, a serpent's tail and a mane made out of snakes. The task of the beast was to guard the underworld and given the animal's description I am sure it did a fine job. The logo of Lew & Huey is a playful looking dog, who perhaps has some lineage to the fabled Cerberus. We will see.SpecsCase: 316L Stainless SteelMovement: Miyota cal. 9015Dial: Blue & Orange; White & Blue; or Gray & RedLume: YesLens: Domed Anti-Reflective SapphireBracel
Offered a blue 15400. Should I take?
Hey all,Just picked up a white dial 15400 last month, but the boutique called and offered me a blue dial. Are they really that rare that it would be worth purchasing? Is there a flip opportunity? I would possibly trade my white dial, but if I would take a wash on the blue I wouldn't really be into it.Thanks!
Omega GMT Co-Axial Seamaster... opinions and pics?
I have always been drawn to the GMT Co-Axial. The build, size, bracelet and the see through back. How many owners out there and what are your impressions? Did you have any issues with the co-axial being accurate or running well? How heavy does it feel on the wrist?Pics too please!
When will we see new DJ 36mm in steel?
With the release of the new TT version this year, how long before we're likely to see a stainless version with the upgraded movement and updated case?Haven't followed these things closely in the past, but is it the sort of thing where there will be an announcement via press release after a few months, or are the stainless versions typically released the following year at Basel? Also curious if/when the OP line is likely to see a similarly updated case design, as I really like the sharper edges/more tapered lugs and am starting to like the idea of a 36mm, light-faced watch (and no, it wasn't that stupid-ass GQ article someone linked to!).
