First Post + First Watch
I am 43 years old and I never wore watches. I decided to embark on a journey to seek out the perfect watch for me. I started with various watches and I ended up shortlisting it to two. The Rolex Daytona and the Omega Speedmaster Professional. I decided on the Omega for various reasons: NASA History, Classic Chronograph and I loved the presentation box. I passed on the Rolex because the cost was almost 3x and the availability was limited (long wait-list). The decision then was which version of the Speedmaster Professional to get. So I looked at both of them online in detail. Read all the reviews. I also went to an Omega Authorized Dealer to see both up close and personal. 31mm DJ Everose...Chocolate or MOP Dial?!
Anyway, I thought I was sold on the Chocolate dial but now the MOP is growing on me. Any disadvantages to either? Both choices would have diamond markers and President bracelet. I like the different look of the chocolate dial and it works so well with Everose but I'm wondering if it would be limiting? I do have other watches in yellow, white and stainless. Thoughts? Sorry, I'm too new to post links and cannot downsize my screenshots to post from my iPad.
