Ferragamo F-80 GMT Watch
Ferragamo watches? Another fashion brand with timepiece you'd be wise to be skeptical of at first. When a company that has never made timepieces suddenly starts to do so, then you should be wary. Delving deeper the plot thickens as all Ferragamo watches are licensed to be developed and manufactured by Timex. At this point I would not think that results have much up-market credibility. Though in this case that isn't exactly true. Ferragamo timepieces for men (especially this F-80) collection are nicely made, have good designs and materials, and contains Swiss mechanical movements. As designer watches go, these sort of fly under the radar and deserve a bit more attention.I believe that the F-80 collection debuted in about 2008. It contains a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic based chronograph model, and a similar model that has a GMT module over a 7750 (there is also a quartz ETA chronograph version as well). Vintage nos Omega ?
I've been looking for a nice vintage 300m Omega diver. I noticed ebay and some other sales sites are filled with what they call New old stock vintage Omega watches.I've seen the 300m , 200m, Ploprof, and others in new condition. Are these in fact produced by Omega ? Are these franken rebuilds ?Thanks.
5 Digit vs 6
Those members that own both 5 and 6 digit models, how often do you find yourself wearing 5 digit references nowadays? This guy has been put away for a handful of years (wound etc. on occasion), since it wasn't getting much wrist time and I'm usually a keeper of all pieces I buy. I forgot how much I disliked the 5 digit clasps, but there is just something that seems more fun for lack of a better word about wearing these older pieces. While, the 6 digit certainly have a higher quality feel IMO. Do any of your 5 digits still make it into your daily rotations? I'm debating moving this one back into mine, but it seems my wrist may have grown since last I put this on. I may need to put a link in
