Breguet Tourbillon Clock Installed at Carnegie Hall
On Wednesday evening, Breguet kicked off its new sponsorship of New York’s Carnegie Hall, starting with the 2012-2013 season, with a grand gesture: the unveiling of a specially crafted Breguet tourbillon clock in Carnegie Hall’s Morse Lobby.?The unveiling of the clock by Breguet U.S brand manager Michael Nelson, Carnegie Hall artistic director Clive Gillinson, and financier and Carnegie Hall board chairman Sandy Weill took place prior to the opening-night gala benefit concert, which featured the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and music director Riccardo Muti, along with the Chicago Children’s Choir and soloists Rosa Feola, Antonio Giovanni and Audun Iversen. Hong Kong Watch Shopping Wonderland
Watch overload. One of the?best days in watches. These are some of the phrases used to describe our afternoon watch shopping in Hong Kong. And these statements are all the more powerful coming from guys who look at and write about watches all day, not to mention that we had just come from Watches & Wonders 2015, where we got to play with and photograph all the Richemont Group brands' haute novelties. What, then, got us so excited about these dingy little watch stores with hand-written price tags? Come along as watches-dealer explores the cluttered streets and hidden watch stores of Hong Kong...You may have heard that Hong Kong is a watch shopping paradise, but you may have also heard that the deep discounts the city was once known for are now a thing of the past. These are both true in a way. You will not simply find a lot of new watches at unbelievable prices, but you will find a preowned watch selection like nowhere else. We easily spent 45 minutes just freaking out in front
Simple question: Speedy Pro or Sapphire Sandwich?
Local AD has a sale going on where I get 20% off (end of year clearance-not under the table discount). OK all you enablers out there, as I seriously ponder my next acquisition with some time pressure, which is it? Acrylic or Sapphire?I am an AD loyalist, so trusted resellers are not an option on this one. I want BNIB and local relationship with AD.I know the merits have been argued endlessly, but how often do I get to buy a new watch? Therefore, a fresh thread.Thank you for all responses in advance!
The PP I missed the most is back home
Hi guys,I have posted recently my doubt about trading the 5726A plus the proceedings I had reserved for a BNIB 5167A in order to get a BNIB 5980/1A blue. So, there were many important opinions . Interestingly, there was a clear division and not a trend at all. Eventually, I have chosen the piece - maybe not the best deal, though , I reckon , but I brought home the piece I missed most.Let's show it, thenthank you for viewing ! best
one and only
My one and only Patek. Has to be 5980 :)Thanks to Jacob Kramer aka deep house to make this happened.
