Hi allI'm looking at putting a rubber strap with deployment clasp on my 45mm planet ocean. What I'm wondering is.... Is it possible to put the deployment clasp on the old style rubber strap? Thanks for your help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Orange bezel PO...
I'm thinking of getting a PO with the orange bezel and would really like to have it with the orange leather or rubber strap. Should I buy the watch with the steel bracelet and get the OEM leather or rubber strap to change out the bracelet, or buy ride away with leather or rubber strap?I'm asking because the straps and buckle not that cheap but I really like the looks with leather or rubber. On the other hand I know from my Breitling that the leather only last for max 2-3 years before needs to be replaced and that's why I switched to a rubber a couple of month ago. What do you think or know about the durability of the Omega rubber or leather straps? Thanks a lot for any advise!!
My newest addition - back to Omegas for a little while
Funny, my family has always been an Omega family. Dad, Uncles, Cousins all seem to gravitate towards Omega. I had a Seamaster Pro five years ago but since have been into a variety of Rolex, Breitling and others. Until Sunday when I picked this up from a fellow forum member and I have to say, amazing! Hopefully some of the troubling stories about the watch do not come to frution, but for now, I am blown away!Have a great New Years Everybody!

As an introduction, I bought my first watch this year an IWC 3714 Portuguese. I thought that would be my first foray into watches and my last purchase for a while. But the bug has really hit me after reading these forums. I was in the hunt for a waterproof watch as I travel quite often. In April I stopped by an IWC boutique in LA and came across the Charles Darwin AT in bronze. I quickly called my AD and sourced one before my next trip. After 2 watches in 3 months I established a relationship with one of the reps at my AD. I asked her about a Lange I read about on Hodinkee that looked interesting. I came in to look at it and determined it wasn't my style. A few weeks later she texted me a picture of a 5167 that came in randomly. I fell in love immediately. I went in the next day to take a look but the piece
