4 New Longines Conquest Heritage Watches Celebrate the Model’s 60th Anniversary
Longines registered the name “Conquest” with the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office in May 1954. At Baselworld 2014, the Swiss brand released a new collection of limited-edition, commemorative watches to honor the 60th anniversary of the patent filing, the new Longines Conquest Heritage 1954-2014.The Longines Conquest Heritage collection consists of four timepieces, one in a stainless steel case and three others in gold cases, each bearing the same dial design as the original Conquest from 1954 and with a modest (some would say downright retro) case dimensions of 35 mm in diameter. 10 years ago when I was 17 I bought my first swiss watch, an Omega Seamaster 2231.80. For me it was an achievement as well a birthday for myself! every penny was my own money so I was proud of myself. Before this SM I owned a NIKE chronograpph :) and before that it was a Coca Cola watch and some fakes. My local Omega AD was having a 50% discount on ALL MODELS!!!! They had RADO and Breitling as well.2 years later I sold the watch to fund an upgrade. Initially I was looking for a Rolex TT DJ but after I did more research I went for a Breguet 5907 which I brought back from Lisbon during a school trip. I even got the tax refunded in the lisbon airport even though I lived in Denmark. LOL These guys got no clue. I just hate paying tax!NOT MY PICAs you could imagine a young dude with a classic Breguet just dont cope so I swaped it with another dealer for a new Aquatimer Chronograph 3 years later which I still own today.Days moved on and so did my collection with added pieces from other brand

Recomendations of omega dealers in Hong Kong
HiCan anyone recommend an authorized dealer/retailer over here in Hong Kong. I have tried a couple of Boutiques but they won't shift on prices.I would be happy to deal with a reputable dealer who will ship overseas to Hong Kong if the price is right.I am interested in the 2254.50.00 and the 2538.20.00 great whiteThanks

Hello all.. I called into my local AD last week to look at a pair of Omega smp; Gents 2254 50 Ladies 2284 50. I was quoted a rrp of ?1300 for the gents and ?975 for the ladies. I left the shop thinking i will ring in a week and haggle. I contacted them today to be told there has been a price increase and the ladies has gone up to ?1040 whats all that about then????
