BVLGARI Diagono X-Pro Watch
Bvlgari, errBulgari always looks better in all caps right? While I have been seeing lots of confused designs from Bulgari as of late, this Diagono X-Pro is something I am not at all confused about liking (which is to say that I do like it). The cool masculine watch takes a few lessons from the polished looks of the Bulgari design play book, and adds a testosterone powered stamp of approval on it. When it comes down to it, while this is a great watch in and of itself, it feels like Bulgari's answer to the Hublot Big Bang. Not only in design, but also when it comes to the "fusion" of materials. Bulgari knows that with its performance over the last few years and the current economy, it can't dick around. It needs to give people what they want - which is apparently still luxury sport watches. One thing that is hard to tell is that the middle section of the case is actually all black - all DLC black for that matter. Now even Bulgari is on the DLC bandwagon. Another wave goodbye to PVD. Just

Service cost advice needed
I sent in my 2 year old aquanaut for service because the brushed bezel was polished and damaged by a reseller and I wanted it perfect.I am in Canada and was quoted 2400 Canadian (about $1800US) for a full service.Seems very high no? The bezel is fixable and not being replaced.Thought? It's at patek in Switzerland. Should I cancel or bite the bullet? When back I plan to sell it sealed from factory. I have some other pieces in mind. ThanksMitch
The time has come...
For the last 5 or so years I have longed after a Panerai. It was a struggle to figure out which one I wanted, you have to admit it is a big confusing if you don't know much about the brand.I joined this forum after I purchased my first real watch, a Rolex Sub 16610. My father had worn a Sub since the day I was born...so, I had to have my own. I still have his, it was left to me after his passing. I believe it is a 5510...not sure.Anyway, the time finally came for me to get my first Pam and I decided on a Base 000. The simplicity of the timepiece is what attracted me. Since the first day I planned to purchase one, I knew, because of this forum and the posts that I would be purchasing it from DavidSW...It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, trust there will be some photos. Many!
Watch recommendation please!
Hi everyone,I would like to purchase a nice used watch, budget up to $10,000. My build is athletic and compact: I am 5 foot 9, 170lbs, so not a big guy, basically built like a gymnast. I am attending grad school next year at a highly regarded university and need a nice watch to pair with suits and business casual; my current job is as a manager in more of a blue collar setting and I would ruin a nice watch. On weekends I tend to dress preppy, for lack of a better term, so it would be nice if any watch went with that look. I currently have a Panerai PAM 673, which I wear often on the weekends, but am worried that it will be a bit too casual to wear with a suit. Also, it would be great to have a stainless bracelet, just for the sake of mixing it up. I also don't want something too dressy that I can't wear on weekends. It has to be a look that is put together but slightly sporty perhaps. The watch doesn't have to be Rolex. My wife has a RG TT 36mm DJII and a GMTII TT as well. I wo
