New here, can someone school me on the co-axial movement?
I'm new here, just bought my first Rolex a couple months ago. Caught the watch buzz now. I saw a constellation at a boutique that caught my eye but I haven't really seen a lot of info about it since then. I'd really like to learn more about the watch so I can either appreciate it more or make a pass on it. Looking for good info here so please keep it detailed as possible. Patek & Grand Seiko
I'd like to know if any Patek owners owns a Grand Seiko as well?Any model would do though i'm looking at a Calatrava against similar style Grand Seiko.If you do, a side-by-side photo would be a nice inclusion.Qn:If you do own both, what are the similarities and differences in terms of fit, finish, form, aesthetics, emotion and anything else you guys could come up with...Grand Seiko do not sell their watches in a place where I could compare both side-by-side in the flesh. Why do they not make the JV strap in 22x20 and what OEM strap is this?
I have been loving my 512 and looking for a new strap. I love the JV but they don't make it for the 512 in 22x20. Doing some searching I found this. I know David very well and unfortunately he sold the watch a while ago. He is going to try to find out what strap it is but he knows it was OEM. The strap looks very close to a JV. Did Panerai make one and now it's discontinued? Is it something different that just looks like the JV? The only other thing I could think it was is a cut down JV to fit. If it's cut down how hard is it to do that.
