This is the best looking watch I've seen in a long time. And it's only 41.5mm! Does anyone have one yet? The stainless (or gold) on black leather strap gets my vote. Here's a review on Hodinke
Trade A Favorite For Something Better?
I have owned a vintage Patek Philippe for 19 years, far longer than any other watch in my past or present collection. Suffice it to say, I very much admire that watch, and had never thought to part with it until recently. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1357885585.024241.jpgI really admire the Nautilus line (have for years). The 5980 chrono has been my grail since I first was aware it existed. Prior to that, my taste was a little simpler: the trusty 5711 (and the Jumbo before it). Here's the question: do I keep my long loved vintage piece and add the 5711, or part with the old friend and get the grail 5980? Factors are: I cannot afford the 5980 without liquidating the vintage piece. While some would say don't settle for less than the grail, well, we're talking 5711...not exactly settling! Besides, I could trade the 5711 and cash down the road to get the 5980. So will the 5980 make me forget all about my vintage Patek? Or will I regret it?
Rolex Warranty Card Differences- Transitional?
Posted on the other website, but will maybe get a faster or more informed answer here....So, I am on the hunt for another Rolex and I am noticing some differences in the warranty cards for what appear to be the same model. Some have just the serial # and model. Others have that plus the actual description of the dial color (and bracelet?) In this case it's a DJ41. Was this a transition thing from the DJII to the 41? Thanks.
