Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Watch To Debut At SIHH 2015
What you see here is a look that for a while now has been?synonymous with Roger Dubuis: a large, round case with triple-lug design, a?notched bezel and -?the?party-piece - an excessively skeletonized movement that?makes?any and all dials completely redundant. Gears, wheels, springs, cams, bridges, jewels, and other structural elements of the movement are exposed as much as possible, in a vast effort to create some serious eye-candy for the watch enthusiast-the kind not turned off by an?arguably more flashy design.?Making its debut at SIHH 2015 is a new piece that carries on this tradition, with a different approach: the?Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton, the first watch of this kind?that does away with the tourbillon and offers this?avant-garde?aesthetic without the tourbillon's hefty pricing premium. For years on end, the tourbillon has?in many ways been considered to be?one of the absolute pinnacles of fine watchmaking C despite the fact that many master watchmakers I had the
AP forged carbon 44 trade for sub
OK guys im going to ask this in here as opposed to the general section as most AP/Rolex guys look in here.....Ive been offered a 2 year old AP forged carbon 44mm complete set as a trade for my 116618LN gold sub(no papers, about 4 years old etc............) Now as much as i love my gold sub i have plenty more rolex sport models at home to choose from and the gold one never gets any wrist time.... mostly due to the fact im not game to walk the streets here with it on lol!Ive had a AP roo safari previously and besides not finding it comfortable to wear it had to be sent back twice with movement problemsi do like the 44 more then the smaller roo and i love the forged carbon and ceramic.... but is it worth all the hype and am i gonna do my money on this?what do we think of this as a trade?

Am I Crazy for Liking the Moon to Mars Edition?
Just picked one up - seems the consensus on these is that they're not particularly cared for among Speedy enthusiasts.I'm not necessarily a purist, but I like keeping things original, generally speaking. The watch came like this from the factory, so I'm fine with it.Mine in particular has a nice reddish hue to the Mars subdial, which I like better than some of the other pictures I've seen.I think the piece is super neat. Am I alone in this thought process?
Tried on what the AD had in stock today.
Liked the blue of the YM but felt like the case would irritate my skin like my old ym, otherwise really liked the ym ii. The explorer ii for some reason felt better on my skin even with my 904l allergy, I may be a buyer.
