Undecided between business casual watches
Hello,I am pretty new around these parts, but have been bitten by the watch bug pretty hard. I currently have an Omega PO 8500 as my daily beater. I wanted something that would withstand my semi-rough ways, and the PO was perfect. It goes really well with my daily attire, which is jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers. I'd say I dress like this 95% of the time. Now I am in the market for something that is a little less casual. I very rarely dress full blown formal, so business casual is what I am aiming for. So less, day at the beach and more Easter dinner with the whole family. My current favorites (other than the impossible to find Silver Snoopy Speedmaster) are the Omega Grey side of the Moon and the Rolex GMT II 116710ln (ceramic). I like the BLNR, but I think I would get tired of it eventually (plus I love the green hand on the LN). Hi, first post!! Been looking and listening for a while now and the time has come to post.Can someone out there tell me where i can buy batteries for the 70's Speedmaster LCD? Need help with 5167 Purchase
Hi all. First time poster in the PP section of TRF. My wife and I stopped by the local PP dealer while on vacation. They have a 5167 in stock and seem willing to deal on the watch since this is the slow season.First off, the wife gave the okay to go ahead with the purchase if I can work out a decent deal with the AD. Since this is my first PP purchase, I'm really looking for input on where I can start the negotiations. We both love this watch. It's now a must have and I would love to close the deal with the local AD before we leave to go back home. We have purchased my TT DJ from this AD in the past and other jewels for my wife, so we have a small relationship with this AD, but its been a while since we have purchased anything at this store.My collection consists of a SS GMTIIC, TT DJ and Stowa MO. I think the Aquanaut would fit in nicely with my collection and might replace the GMTIIC.Any advice, either in this thread or via PM would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Jim

Hello guys, this being my first post on this forum and faced with a decision i just can not make.I have had a number of watches and found myself turn into a serial flipper a few years ago. However, over the last 2 i have worked my collection down to 7 watches which over all bases, dress, causal and just ones i love.I had a Pam luminor (can not remember model) and whilst I loved it, it just did not quiet work, size and height with work attire.Things have changed for me now and find myself drawn to the Radimor range. I know it will be either a 42 or 45, the 47 is just to big for me, but I want it to be more my casual watch.So my problem is I can not decide between having the wire lugs or the 1940 style lugs. I just keep flipp flopping on this and just wanted first hand experience on who you feel the watches wear.Many thanksBrehamI
