Perrelet Introduces the Turbine XL
Last year Perrelet pumped up its iconic (and patented) double-rotor design with the Turbine, a distinctive 44mm re-imagining that transformed the dial-side rotor into a spinning 12-bladed titanium dynamo. Not one to rest on its laurels, for 2010 Perrelet launches the new 50mm Turbine XL. The new XL is offered in three executions: full DLC steel, a more sporty titanium with DLC steel bezel, and the original combination of the limited 77-piece series, in pink gold with DLC steel bezel. DLC stands for Diamond Light Coating, or Diamond-Like Carbon. DLC is a virtually unscratchable coating with a hardness of 4000 to 5000 HV (Vickers), about half as hard as pure diamond. Missed estimate by Clearwater
So I sent in my Diver under warranty to the Clearwater facility on the 4th of September to get an adjustment since the watch was running 15+ seconds a day. A couple of days later, I had recieved the estimate that the repair would be done by approximately about four weeks. At the end of the second week I gave them a call to get an update what has been done to my watch. They said that my watch is in QC and should be ready in a week (a week short of the estimate). I was very pleased. This week I gave them a call and she said that my watch is going back to the watchmaker because it has failed the quality control. She said that a pinion has to be replaced and they are ordering the part directly from Switzerland. Which it would take about another four weeks. I am worried that the watch would not be done before I leave the country and that they cant mail the watch outside the US. My question is has anyone here have the same issue that I am having (missed estimate) and how long does it take f

Help. Ploprof bezel removal
Hello!I just found again, that after hard cleaning, the bezel doesn't work smoothly I would like to remove the bezel. I don't know if I should follow the tutorial like for the Rolex. Knife at 13, a little bit hard and up, and POP! it's out.I hope you can help meBest regards
