Incoming, a deviation
In an effort to help a friend score his first Rolex I sold him my 216570 Polar��..at something of a deal. So, I decided to pocket a bit and pick up a non-Rolex, whitey. I'm really pretty stoked about this piece. It's really nice. Pay attention to the color variation in the bezel, we will be discussing this later when my BLRO shows up. consolidating collection vintage rolex to PP
Did any of you guys move completely from rolex to Patek?I made the decision to go for 5070g several weeks ago and have a few people searching for a good example at a reasonable price for me. Although not imperative, i have been thinking about letting go some of my other watches that get less wrist time. Gilt 4 line 5512 that i baby too much and a few others. I have a well worn Maxi 5513 as a daily that goes everywhere with me and actually i get more satisfaction from.Did any of you end up moving from vintage ( or modern) rolex or other brands to solely Patek?
Saw a 5124 in the showcase at my local AD.
I want it bad, but just picked up a 5711 so I'm penny rich and pound poor! Wow, it is really beautiful. Pictures do not do this watch justice!
Another car analogy
As a car dealer I find myself not liking certain new vehicles as they are redesigned only to have them grow on me. After reading a lot of comments on here I find others as well as myself doing the same with Rolex.
