Tool Watch Adventures
So, today I took my watch out of its comfort zone and it really earned its tool name. I was working out in a shady area out of convenience, not doing that again, and I just didn't want to leave the watch in my car or locker. I've seen other people workout in their Rolex and I wanted to try it out myself. What held me back wasn't really damaging it but being showy and coming off as obnoxious. Ended up getting a flat after the workout and had to replace the tire. Watch never came off. As nerdy as it sounds, I felt I made an extra connection with the watch today. On a side note, I hope the pic I'm posting debunks the idea that wrist size is everything. Apparently, my watch would just be too big for my wrist and I would come off as a clown by wearing one. I have a 6.5 inch wrist (albeit very flat). I'll let you decide if it's too big. I'm about 6 feet tall and fairly muscular. It's all perspective. Daytona C SS vs Sky Dweller SS
I've been admiring the new Sky Dwellers for sale here. They are interesting. I like the black dial --- not blue or white. But, I don't know what I would use that crazy looking dial in the middle of the face. How do you use that? It looks like a 24-hour dial. I've looked for threads on this and so far have not found anyone to explain it.But, I'm hot and heavy for a new Daytona SS --- 1116500LN. The Daytona sells on the gray market as quickly as it's offered. But, the Sky Dweller is at the moment appears to be in a buyer's market. Prices are not as outrageous --- given that the MSRP is actually higher than the Daytona. Which would you rather have? Why? I guess one answer will be that the Sky Dweller is available right now for a decent price --- I've seen $16,300 for BNIB.My wife would kill me if I were to buy 2 new Rolexes. I can hardly remember to keep one watch wound --- but keeping up with 2 would be crazy if both were going to be worn alternately depending on mood or dre

Has anyone grown to like PCLs?
Before getting my BLNR I was well aware that members here dislike PCLs in general. Nobody disputes the fact that they are scratch/smudge magnets.I have seen some BLNRs with brushed bracelets and there is no denying it looks good, but the PCLs have grown on me. They just ad something to the look of the watch. So either I have gotten used to them (mild case of Stockholm Syndrome) or could it be that I actually like them ?
