JLC Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy SEALs Incursion Edition
Jaeger-LeCoultre announced today they will produce the Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy SEALs Incursion Edition. Limited to 19 pieces in black gold and 62 pieces in titanium grey PVD, this series will only be available for sale at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Beverly Hills Boutique. The JLC Beverly Hills Boutique Connoisseurs Club had direct input with the Manufacture in creating these pieces. These series represent the first use of black gold and grey PVD titanium in Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces. The 44mm case houses JLC Caliber 956. Custom accessories include 2 special straps with each watch. The black leather cordura strap will have matching accent colors in the stitching and alcantara strap backing. The second strap will be a black cordura made of especially rugged material suited to diving. JLC will host special delivery events for buyers. Complete technical specifications appear below. The black gold model is priced at $24,000 and the Titanium PVD model is priced at $14,000.Technical C
Hands-On: With The Patek Philippe 5980/1R-001, The Nautilus Chrono In Rose Gold Gets A Bracelet
The 5980 is Patek's Nautilus Chrono - a favorite of many. Long has it been available in rose gold on a leather strap, but just yesterday it was unveiled in an absolutely monster form factor - that with a solid rose gold bracelet. The watch is absolutely awesome (if you're into rose gold), and it wears like a ton of bricks, in the best possible way. This isn't a watch for anyone that isn't sure about themselves, or their position in life as a true OG, because the 5980/1R-001 is a lot of gold. But, if you're THAT guy, this is THE watch to wear. You know what we mean. Price will be $91,400. Boom. 2 OF 3 3 OF 3
AD discounts
I hear/read post of WISes getting discounts for Omegas. I've tried at BB but never received one. Even though I purchased my Rolexes there. Being a good customer apparently means squat. There are WIS who say that buying an Omega Seamaster at retail--$2,300-- isn't the way to go. That there are many much cheaper ones out there. My dilemma. I've been hankering for an SMP, I miss my old one and may one to buy it back. Where the heck can fully warranteed, new, cheaper Seamasters (1120 movement, like my old one below below but with the newer bracelet) be found? FYI--I've been on other forums and also asked.Thank you Omegamaniacs
The Sky finally arrived
Picked up yesterday from my AD after a long wait, only the 2nd SS outside of TT they have received (first one was white). Black was always my first choice and couldn't be happier. Excited to be a part of the group and share.
Rolex Service sends a nice kit to send your watch
I called Rolex Service NY on Tuesday to request a kit to send my watch in for service. After a 5 minute hold, I just provided my mailing address. Today I received the kit.The box came in a Tyvek envelope:Inside was a box containing mailing supplies....brown tape, USPS Registered mail sticker and form, a return label with Rolex address pre-printed, and an instruction pamphlet:Underneath all the mailing supplies is a thick foam layer to place the watch being returned:The mailing instructions contain a form to fill out to return with the watch:The foam has a round section that separates from the base. The watch goes around the foam and then sits well protected inside the foam layer:The box has gummed flaps that are used to seal the box up once closed....nice touch:My watch is now sealed up and ready for registered mail service. I would say this is a much better setup than anything I would have put together to send in a watch for service. The kit took 3 days to get to me, cost me nothing
