Video: WatchTime Interviews Chopard’s Karl-Friedrich Scheufele
At the Baselworld watch fair in March, the online media team from our German sister site, watchtime.net, caught up with Chopard president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele for an exclusive video interview. Here, online editor Katharina M?schl speaks to Scheufele about the new Classic Manufactum and its new movement by Fleurier Ebauches, as well as Chopard’s push to incorporate more in-house movements in its collection and its investments in a new technological center in Fleurier. Singapore visit
I popped into one of the the Singapore AP boutiques the other night to see what they had on offer and tried on some lovely pieces and experienced a great level of service and enthusiasm for the brand from the staff. All in all, it was a delightful visit. I'm not allowing myself to buy any more watches this year, so no incoming to report, but the decision on my next watch has become more difficult. In a huge fan of the blue dial ROC, but the 15400 in grey is quite amazing. Alas, the ROO PT is not in the cards for me!They had a couple of very nice vintage pieces on display. The re-release of the ROO now has me particularly excited.
Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 2400.SO.OO.A002CA.01
Can anyone tell me some details on this AP 26400 watch please? Specifically about the AP movement and reliability, future servicing schedule and approximate service costs? Also as it would cost me 17000, how well would this model retain its future value?
I am in the market for a Omega Speedmaster Automatic #3510.50
I really like the Reduced 38mm size because I have very skinny wrists. I have about $1000 saved up for my next watch (I was saving for a 16610 sub) but i got the itch for a OMega. I love watches but my collection consists of 4 watches right now a MOvado Sport, a Rado Jubilee, a Buam n mercier Capeland S, and a Rolex Datejust. I think the speedmaster would be aq nice addition to my collection and was looking around at E-bay and found alot of japan sellers selling Omega. Has anyone bought a omega off ebay from Japan? What should I expect to pay for Omega Speedmaster Automatic #3510.50 in mint condition with box and papers and one without box and papers?I belive that this watch is no longer produced so what years was this watch produced? What should I expect to pay for service to service this watch when I get it , and how often does it need to be serviced. Thank you for all your help.
PP 5167A vs. AP 15202
Currently struggling deciding between the Aquanaut 5167A on rubber and the Royal Oak 40th Anniversary blue dial 15202. All input, suggestions, personal preferences, etc. is appreciated!I am looking for a watch that can be worn everyday, is comfortable, dress up/down, and will retain its value well. The only other watch I currently own is Rolex Milgauss GV. Thanks in advance!
