Speedmaster Pro panda dials
After 30+ years of serial watch buying, I somehow skipped over the Speedy Pro until just a couple months ago and I am mildly addicted already. I picked up a NIB Pro and was then reading as much as I could about them.That led me to the Mitsukoshi dial mod and I sourced the dial and handset which are getting scarcer every day. I got my watch swapped over last week and although I love the standard black dial the new white panda dial with silver handset is stunning. I know there have been several white and white panda dial variations but the only reverse panda I'm aware of is the recent Speedy Tuesday. Have there been any others in the past?

Calling out all Speedmaster experts! (X post)
Hi everyone,long time lurker, first time poster here! After many months of searching the net, devouring the posts on almost every Omega forum, studying C. Maddox's site, flirting with many Omegas and generally neglecting everything else in life, I bought 2 Speedmasters in 5 months! The first one, a Xmas gift for my husband, is a 1978, cal 861, a bit beat up but all in all a good deal. The second one, I simply couldn't pass up. It's a 145012 67 SP (my husband's birth year), cal 321, in brilliant condition (IMHO �C sure the chronograph pusher needs to be tightened, but the hands reset to zero beautifully, it keeps time to +20 sec a day with its last service being in 1972! ), bought from the original owner (who bought it on Xmas 1967) at a good price (thanks also to the strong euro!). There is just a thing that bothers me: the dial. I read everywhere that 321 Speedys all have the metal logo dial, no exceptions. Well, mine hasn't. Legacy / Birthyear Watch
So, my first child (boy) is scheduled to arrive this coming October. *my avatar does not accurately reflect how I feel about it*Anyway....I was thinking of getting a birth-year watch to mark the occasion. Something that would be special, that I can enjoy for a while before I pass along to my son when he comes of age. The only caveat being that I would want to acquire it by October (so no extremely hard to get watches). I was thinking of the TT CHNR to mark the occasion and have as the heirloom (talked to my AD and am confident I can source by October). Just posting to hear about other members' birth-year watch stories. Also to gather some alternative opinions to the TT CHNR (maybe non-Rolex)? *my current collection is in my signature* Muchisimas gracias
