What do you guys think of a white gold Omega deville prestige?
What do you think of the dial and pm case?I really like the blue hands and markers, but they are pvd. The movement is the 2500.d co-axial, which is the closest to the 8500, but used to keep the watch thinner. It's 11,700 versus 3,600 for the SS, less on the gray market.
BROWN strap for SPEEDY 9300?
I'm loving my new Speedy 9300 CoAxial (44.25 mm) on both the bracelet and black croc strap, but would very much like to add a cool brown strap to the collection. In my mind, one of the coolest things about this Speedy is the way the curved-end strap integrates into the case. At this time Omega does not make the same piece in brown. Do any of you know where I might be able to source such a piece? Thanks very much to TRF in advance for all of the continuing discussion and advice.
What is the model most representative of the brand?
Hello friendsI have Rolex and Panerai. Now I want to buy an Omega watch but want it to be the most desired and likes more people. It may be a line Seamaster James Bond? Please I would like you to tell me what is the model number for watching it to see the Omega boutique in my city.Thanks.
Super Duty
Not sure if it qualifies as extreme duty, but my DateJust II has been super for me!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What is with polishing?
I am fairly new to the luxury watch market. I see that some people write about watches being polished , and that is looked down upon. Does this mean watches are simply Brillo padded to remove scratches or does this mean literally polishing with a bidding wheel to attempt to remove scratches and swirls? I am referencing tool watches like vintage GMT's and Subs. I don't really understand what the big deal is about polishing watches and why it is a negative.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
