Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe Piece Unique Watch
The Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe timepiece will be one of three piece unique watches unveiled this weekend during the Pebble Beach auto show events (Concours de Elegance), to help celebrate Parmigiani's ten-year relationship with the very high-end car maker Bugatti. It was in 2004 that the first Parmigiani Bugatti watch was released, and since then we've seen a range of highly avant garde timepieces produced via the formal agreement between the two brands.While there has been a range of Parmigiani Bugatti watches over the years the new Bugatti Mythe watch is related to the original Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 (some images in this article). Born during a time of great horological design experimentation, the Type 370 was meant to be a very novel-looking "driver's watch." The idea being that when worn, the wearer would view the time from the side. New Incoming: Jumbo Time
Fellow AP enthusiasts, thought i would share with you my latest acquisition. This came about somewhat unexpectedly but it has literally blown all previous preconceptions out of the water. This is a pre-boutique 15202 and i purchased this whilst also owning a 15300. My current tastes have always led me to newer models with chunkier bracelets but when this arrived there was only one winner and the 15300 was soon flipped. A light polish at AP to bring it back to life and this is the result. Quite frankly, it's superb and comfy as hell and is going nowhere.

Too similar? What to do?!?!?
Yesterday, during our MX Christmas lunch, we stopped by the local Rolex boutique (BIG mistake). Stock was impressive, with MANY options on same dials (ie blue DJ41 SS on jubilee, oyster, flutes and smooth bezels, etc). As we got in, the Daytona display called me. Options...a LOT!Here is the dilemma: I own a YG/leather Daytona which was my grail and took me years to get; yet when I saw the new ceramic....oh boy. Question: should adding this would make sense or is it too similar? Thank you all!(Watch on right, I already own...should I add the one on the left? BTW, watch on right looks much better than in pics)
