Casio Pro Trek PRW6000 Watch For 2014
Welcome to Baselworld 2014. If you're lost among the maze of glittering booths and lust-worthy watches, Casio's got you covered with the latest addition to their Pro Trek series of outdoor enthusiast watches. The new PRW6000Y is an update to the PRW5100 series of Pro Trek models that feature an analog-digital display as opposed to the full digital display seen on models like the PRW3000. With the expansive list of features that we've come to expect from Casio's Pro Trek range, the PRW6000 has a focus on user experience and accessibility with a new dial layout and a trick crown that offers simplified control over its many features.Being one of the flagship Pro Trek models, the PRW6000 gets all of the best bits from Casio. The movement is solar powered and features Multi-band 6 atomic timekeeping and Casio's latest Triple Sensor V3. The Triple Sensor allows for the compass, altimeter and barometer we all expect on a Pro Trek, but this latest generation is considerably smaller and more ef
Visit to AP Singapore Boutique yesterday
Sometimes it's good to be on holiday trying different watches. I spent few chances (forced myself actually) to walk in to several AP dealers in HK (as we all know Rolex is just everywhere around the corner of each block), and one thing I noticed is that they don't know much about AP! and the discount is max 10% on very comparable USRP.On the other hand, this holiday's second leg was in Singapore and after my family went home, I decided to took the MRT to Orchard Station and explore the AP Botique, it is tiny compared to PP, VC, Rolex, IWC, Omega, and tuck in a small corner (next to Hermes) on the other side of ION building, but the staff are friendly, and I couldn't stop myself not trying any watches........So here i am with the Panda and Bumblebee, my left wrist is smaller than my right wrist (I wear on my right) and the staff told me that the discount is 15% plus 7.5% GST back... much better than HK.They already have the new 41mm Royal Oak on display, but both HK and SG don't have t
Incoming: My First of 2016
picked this up over the weekend, and I couldn't be more pleased. I know some will say the market is soft, this reference is bound to drop more, etc. but, all things considered, I think I got a great price (over the long run), and it feels like a keeper anyway. I imagine it will take some time to get used to the weight, but I can see this as my daily wearer for quite some time.
Patek and the infamous diamond...
Just curious if anyone knows the quality of the diamond Patek Philippe sets at 6 o'clock (most of the time between the lugs..sans the awesome pt nautlius) of their platinum pieces. I've had a 5140P and always got asked about it from friends that knew Patek but have never actually pursued an answer until now. Thanks! ....in terms of GIA (VS1, VS2...so on and such) Thanks!
Your college degree and your Rolex.
This is inspired by the your Rolex and your profession thread. Now I'm from England where we call it university and you only do one subject but I understand the Americans amongst you minor and major in things etc.Personally I'm in my first semester at college and also trying to run a business. My degree is in accounting. I will be getting a Subc or Explorer II as soon as I save my last 500 or so. I currently have a Breitling and a JLC Reverso. So did you go to college ? If so what is your degree subject ? and obviously which Rolex/Rolex's do you own ?
