Christophe Claret Dual Tow NightEagle Watch
I am like the watch paparazzi sometimes. Look what I saw being worn on the wrist of Christophe Claret, the very man who created this watch, and the name on the dial. How cool is that. Master watch maker Christophe Claret waited until last year to put his name on a watch with the Dual Tow, an incredibly impressive luxury watch that I discussed here. The vast details that make this watch interesting I attempted to cover there. There is no point in my spending an hour discussing the complex features and technical merits of the Dual Tow. The watch is a monopusher chronograph with a complex planetary gear system (that you can see), a chime that goes along with pushing the button (using a hammer and gong), a tourbillon, and the time read on rubber belts. I am working this week in my companies vendor booth at the Arizona Bar Association Annual Convention. I normally wear a sport coat to these deals but since it is only slightly cooler than the surface of the sun here I wore slacks and a polo shirt yesterday. For background...We are a legal document services provider (process service, court filing, research etc) along with being a private investigative agency who specializes in skip tracing and asset location so law firms make up the majority of our clients hence the attendance.I am standing there and a well dressed attorney walks by our booth and asks what we offer for services and I go into my schpeel. He stands there nodding his head then goes Business must be pretty damn good for you! as a statement, not a question. I say yes, it's petty good. Question from my 18 yr old son
My 18 year old son asked me today while taking a ride with me in my 83' 911 SC Porsche with my no date sub on my wrist, What is the least expensive Rolex?. I was not certain as to the answer, so I pose it to the Rolex lovers on this fine forum (and please don't answer Tudor), I am certain he was thinking of one with the Kings crown on it.
