Royal Oak or Vacheron Constantin dual time?
Both have the same designation for the GMT models, one is 39mm while the other, the VC, is 42mm, the RO is steel bracelet, the VC is nice in titanium with leather/rubber strap, you have one of each when you buy it, the price new from grey dealer is more or less the same for a new piece.Can't download a pic from the site so here's a link to the VC:.vacheron-constantin/f...7450-000w-9511Same thing for the RO so here's the link:.audemarspiguet/en/wat...k#!CO:RO.EP:COBoth are great looking IMO, the VC being more modern and using titanium.I understand that the debate will be biased this being a AP forum, but what do you think of both models, their pluses and minuses, knowing that I am cutting down on my collection and aiming for a 3 watch collection, 2 of which are ordered, the Rolex Hulk, sub c LV, and the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712.Which according to you would be the perfect third to complete the trio?Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advices

Need Some Opinions ?
Hey guy's, need some quick opinions !My Bumblebee is at clearwater for the water resistance test and warranty extension (extra year even on my 5 year boutique warranty) .. I have always wanted the black date wheel, I thought it would look COOL and the way it should come, however, now i'm hesitant?? Will it ruin resale down the line? (probably not right, plus I don't plan on selling it ever) but still, usually i'm a modded but something tells me maybe I should just leave it alone now , hrmm.. I grew to love it as is, they are quoting me 363 dollars all said and done for it, really not much.. I expected moreSecond thing is the survivor strap and buckle , the buckle is damn near 700 dollars???? I want the combo and a rubber/tang option, but dang it's a lot ! I have a feeling too I won't even wear it much with it as I love the horn back with yellow stitch..Would love some thoughts and impressions, thanks.Martin

Tools for resizing bracelet
So.. I got a new Omega Speedy Pro last night.I got it via mail ( I know , not quite the AD experience , but for a few hundred $ saving its okay me). Now I am trying to take a link out on either side - I could wait till Monday and go to a shop , but you know how it is... I want to wear it NOW.So are there any objects around the house that I could use to knock the pin out without scratching anything ( I have the hammer , looking for something to hit with the hammer). Tried a needle - too narrow and flimsy, tried a nail , just just too thick although that would, I think, work if it was the right sizeAny suggestions for a DIY job ??Thanks upfrontGreg

Got my 5167 back today!
Picked up my 5167 today having been returned from Patek following a scratch on the lug and clasp made by the AD when changing the strap as it had originally been cut too short. With an extra rib the new strap fits perfectly and I can't believe how comfortable this watch is....amazing just perfect. I have really missed this piece and with it fitted correctly it is even better. Patek sent me a lovely email apologising for the inconvenience and said they did not valet the clasp where there is a very minor scratch due to it being a new timepiece and they did not advise it, but they have given me a complimentary valet at the next routine service.Picture of me wearing it today. Glad to have it back and love it more than ever
