Omega Semaster Pro 2500
Now that the 8500/8400 calibers are in use, does anyone thing Omega will discontinue the older Seamaster Pro 300m with the 2500 movement? I happen to like this watch because of the solid case back the thinner profile. Jeremy
Why are the 8500 POs so THICK?
I LOVE the new 8500 POs and would love to add one sometime down the line. Even the price doesn't seem too bad for what you get in the watch. That being said, a major turnoff for me is the thickness of the watch. A 16610 Sub is my daily wearer, and I'm not too fond of watches that get much thicker than that. The PO 8500 seems quite a bit thicker. Is this a conscientious design choice by Omega (to accomodate the trend towards thicker beefier watches these days), or just a limitation caused by the movement itself? Is there a chance to see thinner 8500 diver watches from Omega sometime down the line?
Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167a vs 5164????
Hey GuysThese two references have been floating around my head for a little while and both have their own great qualities. I know which I am leaning towards but would love to see what the TRF consensus is Also feel free to post your pics of your 5167s and 5164 on tropical straps :smoking: (pic from Hodinkee)
Vegas / Rolex
I'm in Vegas for vacation and it was recommended to me to stop by the boutique at the Wynn which was great! I then checked out the one at the Bellagio, which was also great..However the reason for my post is that there seems to be 2 dealers inside Ceasers palace? When I checked the rolex website, they were not listed as AD's? One was tourneau. My mom was looking at a ladies 28mm, it seemed to have severe stretch (at least I thought so). They were selling it as new, as a note. Just curious on others thoughts on this.
Tudor Style
Was looking at the BB36 and then stumbled upon the Style in 38mm. Does anybody own these watches or have experience with them? I currently own a 116710LN, but wanted something smaller for day-to-day, hence the BB36 or the DJ36
