Come to the Autodromo Stradale Launch in NYC Tomorrow
Just the other day, Autodromo, released a new line of automatic watches at the Concorso Italiano in Monterey California. The Stradale series continues their automotive inspired-spin on watch design with a refreshing sense of elegance and style. Their last series, the Prototipos, drew from 60s and 70's chronographs, achieving a vintage aesthetic that both watch and car enthusiasts found very appealing. The Stradales go back to the cars themselves and a slightly earlier era, being based on the dashes from Italian sports berlinettas of the late 50s and early 60s. There is a definite retro feel to them, yet the execution looks very modern. Fusing a 40mm case with wire lugs, dials with floating glass indexes, domed sapphire crystals and simply to-die-for straps, these Miyota 9015 powered stunners are their new flagship line, priced at $875.We'll be getting these in for review post-haste, so I'll leave my more detailed thoughts for then, but right now we have an exciting opportunity to shar
Two questions on Seamaster 2254.50
Hi all,As above, below are the questions. I am just seeking some opionion as nobody knows what holds for the future.1) With the rising prices of omega new watches, do you think seamaster 2254.50 price will also in relative be brought up in price?2) If so, how much would you think it might be in 5 to 10 years time.Just seeking some ball park and estimate, I know it might not be accurate. But thanks.
Steel and Rose Gold Nautilus
Just picked up a PP 2013 Collection catalog and saw a photo of the new for 2013 reference 5980/1AR-001 Steel and Rose Gold Nautilus. I'm not a fan of that look on the Nautilus, maybe it looks better live. Anybody out there seen one? Is this the first modern times steel and gold men's watch from PP? Curious as to what you think about this model.
