8 Things to Know About the Christophe Claret Allegro
At #baselworld 2015, Christophe Claret's headliner was the Allegro, a new minute repeater watch that boasts very fine craftsmanship and an extremely eye-catching movement. Here's what you need to know about the Le Locle brand's latest in order to stay up to date. 1. It comes from a very musical family.Watchmaker Christophe Claret has always been fond of minute repeaters; in fact, the first watch movement Claret designed, in 1989, was a minute repeater. The Allegro follows in this heritage. It is the third musical watch in the brand's Traditional Complications collection, following after the Adagio and Soprano models. However, it has a movement entirely its own. Caliber ALG89 is a manually wound caliber 34 mm in diameter. It has a grand total of 520 components. It beats at 21,600 vph. 2. Post 275 - My first incoming on this sub forum
After 275 posts, 3 APs, 2 Omegas, 1 Tudor and 7 Rolex i can finally post an incoming on the Patek sub forum. Better still I have my ultimate sports 3 watch collection! I collect tomorrow and will post pics. Many thanks to the enablers and advisors - you know who you are
How accurate is your Rolex?
I obsessively track the time on my 16710 Pepsi GMT. Over the past year it's averaged losing around 1-2 seconds/day. Over the past month it's lost a total of 6 seconds. Pretty incredible. The 3185 movement is amazing!Who else has amazing accuracy Rolex stories??
LVC finally got it
My AD is out of town, and between getting there and shipping out of state and back, I got it. I sure did miss it. Glad to have it back. I recently got a new 116613LB, I didn't remove any links, and put the bracelet at the smallest setting it was a perfect fit. However, the LV is rather loose at the smallest setting. Been at work all day so I haven't had time to mess with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BLNR vs Daytona 116520?
Ignoring the obvious price difference, which is a more versatile watch for a first time Rolex owner?
