Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutiques Open In Vancouver And Toronto
Having grown up near Toronto and now residing in Vancouver, I was thrilled to hear that Jaeger-LeCoultre would be gracing both of these fine Canadian cities with their own boutiques. These boutiques are Jaeger-LeCoultre's first in Canada and, for watch fans that frequent either city, the addition is nothing short of exciting, as boutiques generally offer a wider selection and better access to special models than an authorized dealer might be able to provide. The dial details of the pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal TimeWhile Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal have access to Jaeger-LeCoultre via authorized dealers, these new brand boutiques boast key locations that should connect well with each city. As Toronto is a mall-heavy city (for you foreigners, it's a rather large and sprawling city), the Toronto Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique is located in the Yorkdale shopping center alongside many other watch retailers. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique
Some Omega news . . .
My dealer expects the new POs to begin arriving next month. He has quite a few on order and several already sold. The Ti, PO chrono, and SMPs will come in later in the year. The current POs and SMPs will continue to be available so long as the supplies last. The Liquidmetal LE production of 1948 pieces has ended and all have been shipped out to the distribution centers.I stopped into a local Omega AD yesterday and noticed that they had cleared out one of their Breitling cases. I asked what happened and they said they were making room for the 2011 Omegas. It seems that Greg Swift, President Omega USA, was in the store last Wednesday to confirm their status as an ongoing AD so they are expanding their Omega inventory. When I first visited that store back in 2008, they had just become a Rolex AD. The Rolex inventory took up four cases and the Omega were in a small case in the back. With some encouragement from me, they moved the Omegas up front near the entrance and soon added a se
Omega Speedie Pro bracelet question.
Hi all.I am a lover of fine watches and of course that includes Rolex and Omega.I want to ask the advice of this forum.I have a late 80s-early 90s 861 speedie pro and the question involves the bracelet. Do you think the 1171 bracelet is nicer than the current bracelet?I bought my Speedie from a vintage watch dealer - used - and it came with the newer style bracelet. Whilst I love the newer bracelet - it did not feel 100% right.I then bought a 1171 bracelet off ebay - very fairly priced at around 150-The speedie now has the vintage feel back - sorry if that not make sense. My question is. do other people agree with me on the 1171 bracelet being nicer than the new style.

Would you consolidate to a 5970?
I am seriously considering consolidating a large part of my collection to fund a 5970j. I was going to trade an AP RO SS perpetual calendar, a PP 5059j, an AP ROO Alinghi dual time, and an 18k bronze GMT II. Would you do that trade or keep the wide variety. I will be left with a 5712, a 5726a and a 5726 1/a white along with a SD, a black Daytona and a president. What do you guys think?
