Oris John Coltrane Limited Edition Review
When last we looked at an Oris, it was the beautiful beast known as the Aquis Regulateur Der Meistertaucher. This solid titanium diver impressed with its unique design and flawless execution. When I think of Oris, that is the type of piece that comes to mind. Whether an modern and advanced diver, or a clean and crisp pilot, the Oris' that are most commonly seen are in the sport variety. Today, we're going to take a look at a watch that is very different from that, showing off the brand's versatility. The Oris John Coltrane Limited Edition was first introduced at Basel World a couple of years ago that immediately caught our attention. As part of their line of LE watches that are inspired by famous Jazz musicians, the Coltrane is a 50's style dress watch with very subtle hints at its patron musician. The Value Proposition: The Longines Heritage Diver Chronograph
If you're looking for a very respectable amount of bang for the buck, you could do quite a bit worse than Longines, who have in recent years developed a very large collection of timepieces that are based on watches from their very long history (which, in one form or another, goes back to the early 1830s when Auguste Agassiz set up shop in St. Imier, and founded the company that would eventually become Longines.) We're not saying every single one is a home run but there really is something here for just about everyone and in general, at very wallet-friendly prices. 1 OF 5 We just recently got to spend several days with one that we really like a lot: the Heritage Dive Chronograph. This is a heft
AP Diver or 15400 Silver for Vegas weekend trip?
What would you take for a weekend trip to vegas the AP diver or the 15400 silver dial?
Strongly considering my first PAM as next watch....321 is at the top of my list
Today I learned that my wonderful fianc will be gifting me a watch as a wedding present (I knew she was the one ). So to make a long story short, I know nothing about pams and a minty 321 from reputable seller just caught my eye. Is this a good variant in terms of being A first Pam? Resale value? Anything else I should know about it or any other similar models I should also be considering? Thanks in advance
