Stowa Marine Review
If you're into German watches, you're likely already very familiar with Stowa. If not, here's the super abbreviated history. Stowa was founded in 1927 by Walter Storz, (Stowa being an abbreviation of his name STOrz WAlter). In the 30��s they designed and released Bauhaus watches, which informed their very popular Antea line available today. Famously, of infamously as it might be, they were one of the original manufacturers of Flieger watches during WWII. Their original factory was also blown up during said war. They moved to another area in Germany and continued to make watches for many decades. In 1996 J?rg Schauer, a renowned German watch maker,?took over the brand and all trademark rights. By introducing watches closely based on the brand's history as well as new, modern watches, such as the Seatime Prodiver, all while maintaining accessible prices, Schauer has reestablished Stowa as a popular brand.One of their historical lines that has always intrigued us is their Marine line. Omega in the world of watches
First of all, a few disclaimers:-I have limited knowledge of the Omega brand-I've never owned an Omega timepiece-I am familiar with all of the other brands to some extent (Rolex, PP, AP, JLC, etc.)Now, please take this with a grain of salt if you must, but after drooling over the Seamaster 300 (the vintage inspired one with a Master Co-Axial movement), I was literally shocked at the price tags that these beautiful watches are commanding. $7500 CAD for a starter model in stainless steel, up to $75,400 for the platinum version.Is it fair that they're charging more than what a new SS Sub is worth for this model? Is it fair that you can get a Rolex PM Sub for half the cost of that PT Omega Seamaster 300? And I mean fair simply in the sense that: Can they justify charging these prices? If so, how?I am curious to hear your responses. And I'm paying attention, because I can't shake the thought of owning one of those SS Seasmaster 300's, despite the price tag!!!

So what's it gonna be, old school favorite versus limited new kid. Doesn't matter white or blue dial. Your favorite dial vs the pilot. Thought this would be fun as it's getting so much fanfare and the prices are similar, msrp. We know bailman and socal are with the ltd. How bout you? Oh, and pictures always speak louder than words.

Does anybody know how many clicks on that bezel? Is it just 24 or is it more, allowing to track those odd time zones?
