Gosh how does anyone remember these silly model numbers?I think I am liking this one:What do you think?
Would you....
An intriguing opportunity just came up and I would love to get your opinions/comments on this. Would you flip a Lange WG Perpetual Calendar for a PP 5146g with enough funds leftover to acquire either a 5164 Travel Time or 5712-1A. There would still be approx $6k coming back to me. I should mention that I have owned the Aquanaut 5164 and 5712-1a in the past. I am also well aware of the fact that this is a PP forum. All 4 pcs mentioned here are in indistinguishable-from-new condition.
Thinking of downsizing to a 42mm Panerai...
I've owned several PAMs over the years, a 111, 000, 312, 287, 024 and currently a 233. Though I deeply appreciate the brand, I've somehow come to the conclusion that the 44-45mm size is just too large on my wrists (6.5 inches). I've been looking at the 42mm Panerai models and have been attracted to some of the Radiomir models (337, 514) but I am looking at something with a date. Also saw and admire the 184 which is somehow hard to come by. The Luminor 392 seems a bit too thick for me. I wanted to ask members experiences with handling a 42mm Panerai (Luminor or Radiomir) and if anyone can recommend something that is slim and with the date function. I guess I am looking for something with the overall Panerai aesthetic but somehow not too bulky on my wrist. Sausage or sandwich dial is fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Ok, so its a massive "if" but......
What if Rolex really have stopped 126600 production and what if March sees the new SD43 with an all white text dial?(Not that I believe either of those have/will happen, but play along with me) That would give us say 10 months production of the Single Red 50th Anniversary Sea Dweller. And probably all manufactured in 2017, the anniversary year. Would that make a Single Red SD43 the shortest variant production run in Rolex history?Or have there been shorter runs of a variant in the past?
Need some help on my first Pepsi..
Hello people,I am looking to buy a GMT Pepsi and I found one that might be interesting for me. Its a 2003 model with box and papers. I do not have experience on buying watches online and I can use a little bit of help. If you have any tips for me on questions that are normal to make to a dealer please comment. Can I ask for pictures of the papers for example? Or is it ok to ask for a picture of the reference number between the lugs? Ill share you the pictures.. What do you think? Thank you for your help!
