Parmigiani Adds New Tourbillon to Its Pershing Collection
Parmigiani Fleurier, the boutique brand founded by master watchmaker Michel Parmigiani, has added a new limited-edition watch, called the Tourbillon Abyss, to its collection of Pershing timepieces, established in 2007 in a partnership with the prestigious Italian yacht manufacturer.Introduced at the SIHH watch salon in January, the Pershing Tourbillon Abyss, which is limited to 30 individually numbered pieces, has an exceptionally light titanium case middle, a dynamometric screw-down crown and a rose-gold, unidirectional bezel. The dial evokes the nautical influence of Pershing yachts, with its deep azure hue and wave patterns in various lighter shades of blue, achieved by creating multiple fine layers with an electroplating process.Like other timepieces in Parmigiani’s Pershing family the brand’s first sports collection the watch’s case bears distinctive curves that bring to mind the shape of a yacht’s hull. Cartier Presents Six New Models For SIHH 2016, With Live Pics
It's December already (already!) and you know what that means: pre-SIHH announcements for watches that will officially debut next month in Geneva are already coming in. This one's a big one: six new models from Cartier (and believe us when we tell you this is just the tip of the iceberg.) Without further ado, let's get this show on the road. Cl De Cartier Automatic Skeleton 1 OF 21 First up, we have a fully skeletonized version of the Clé de Cartier, which was first introduced by Cartier last year, and whose distinguishing features are a new case shape for Cartier, as well as the "key" (clé in French) winding crown, which is fitted with a self-centering mechanism that automatically puts the crown in line with the flank of the case when you've released it. 2 OF 21 The movement is the in-house Cartier caliber 9621 MC, with a 22k gold rotor, and a 41mm x 11.45mm case in palladium. Royal Oak refinishing/polishing
Hey all! I am new to the forum so this will be my first post. I have two Audemars Piguet watches, a steel royal oak offshore and a rose gold royal oak chronograph. I recently had a complete service conducted on my offshore and it took a total of 5.5 weeks from drop off at the boutique to my doorstep. I am planning on having my royal oak chronograph dropped off at the NYC boutique for only a polish (not complete service) in the near future. Does anyone know how long it takes for AP to just do a polish?
Year of this Breitling?
Hi, yet another identification question. This was my father's Breitling, I don't know the year. Any information about it or link would be appreciated.Like all of Dad's watches, it's in need of cleaning! I think he may have bought it in the late 1960s or early 1970s. He wore it often.
Betting this is fake, but how can I tell?
I doubt Omega ever used gold-plated cases, but just in case, I ask. Is it real?Craigslist OmegaIt's not far and Westland isn't the best area, so I can just picture someone offing an Omega for a C-note, but...
