Small wrist ~6 inches, 15300?
With all this enabling going on, I am headed no where fast. I mean seriously a drug habit would probably be cheaper....Just wondering for those with small wrists, how does the 15300st work for you guys?I have really small exactly 5.75 wrists, oval rather than flat top.For reference, I have a 14060m that I wear a little loose with all removable links removed. I have a luminor case 44mm Panerai that I wear thanks to an aftermarkt leather strap that barely works. Before I plunk down $10+ K, any input would be greatly appreciated. I know the diameter is 39mm, but it has long lugs and wears way bigger right?I live in a provincial part of the country. The nearest AD is in Dallas 5 hours away. So no way I can get away for the weekend to try one on.Thanks in advance....
What happens with most your other watches when you go Patek?
Just curious what you guys do.Doesn't necessarily have to be Patek, but basically a luxury high end watch that you work hard to purchase. When I purchased my First Rolex, no other watch got any wrist time.I just couldn't justify keeping the Rolex at home as she could be used as a beater, a dressy, a sporty watch.PP is a whole other league.I know it won't make my Rolex redundant, as she is still the perfect beater, but I am curious. How can your earlier watch purchases get any wrist time when you pull the trigger on high end watches like the Patek?Do you downsize to a smaller collection with more quality?Or keep them as still wear them at times?
Which dome crystal model?
Currently looking to sell my 164 and get a dome crystal style. What options do you recommend? Recently fell in love of domed crystals after seeing my friend's 233. Can't really afford the 233 now though....The 422 is great but I am not sure about a 47. What else is there? (No radiomirs).
Owning Two Daytona Cs
I've been following the thread on the Daytona C in this forum. Unless I've sort of generalize, it appears that there are a couple of forum members that own both the White and the Black Daytona C based on responses given from queries such as which color to choose or Daytona Club.In this regard, I would like to ask for those members who own both colors for the reasons on buying both. I would say that these members are indeed lucky on getting both colors given the long waiting list and the difficulty in getting even one Daytona C.Great weekend ahead and happy holidays! Black Friday Treat for Myself
I picked up a new to me GMT Master II 116713 today and I'm so very pleased. I stopped in at the local dealer because I heard he had taken in a blue sub on trade and I was thinking that just might be my next watch.... Until I saw this one. I'm very pleased with how different and more substantial it feels from my sub (2001 serial range). Now to figure out how to set the darn thing!
