Glashtte Original Senator Observer Adds Luminous Highlights for 2015
Several years ago, Glashtte Original introduced its first Senator Observer, a limited-edition, white-gold timepiece that celebrated the memory of German watchmaker Julius Assmann and famed explorer Roald Amundsen. It was modeled on the traditional observation watches (more widely known as “deck watches”) made in the German town of Glashtte, which were used by navigators to determine a ship’s position at sea. In 2012, an unlimited version in a stainless steel case with two dial options, made its debut. 2010 Olympic Edition
Has anyone bought the Seamaster olympic version? I would like to see some wrist shots if you have them.I really would like a white faced watch and the only real option (for a LONG time) is the Rolex Exp II which costs about $6800 here in Canada. I always found it a tad bit small and the Seamaster line to be just right. When I spoke to my AD he said that alot of people like the olympic version but dislike the red besel and olympic symbol on the second hand which apparently both can be changed.Let me know.
Battle of steel
Which do you guys prefer as the best annual calendar complication in steel to get? 5726 vs 5960? I think the price is close though the 5960 is a little bit more because of the bulls eye chrono.Any thoughts?
Vantrablack on dials.
Would Rolex consider using Vantrablack on dials. I'm sure this would really make indices and hands pop.
114060 price increase and scarcity
I've noticed that the submariner no date has increased in price and is more desirable than ever. All steel sports Rolex are hard to get lately but it's a lot more rare to see a 114060 in the grey market these days. Interesting. BTW I LOVE THIS WATCH!IMG_0362.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
