HYT H3 Watch & Video
At Baselworld 2015, HYT (the hydromechanical horologists) will present their third major new release - the HYT H3. A few months ago, HYT presented the Skull watch (here), which, while being a new watch, was closely aligned with the original HYT H1 (hands-on here). Unique, weird, and controversial, the HYT Skull was merely a fun distraction from what would be the main attraction for 2015 - this new HYT H3 timepieces. In a nutshell, this 25-piece limited edition watch in titanium & platinum that will have a linear liquid indicator for the hours along a rotating cubic linear hour scale, along with a retrograde minute hand.HYT is clearly friendly with fellow Geneva-based futuristic high-end micro-brands such as MB&F, Urwerk and others. While the H3 resembles the DNA HYT has already been adept at developing, you see a lot of references to their industry colleagues in the design of the H3 watch and its more angular rectangular-shaped case that is 62mm wide by 41mm tall. Retro Modern IWC And Porsche Design Watches, Still Modern Looking
Impressive watch giant IWC and Porsche Design used to get together for watch making fun. IWC manufactured the watches, and Porsche Design, well, designed them. Now IWC has enough watches in its line (not that is was ever a thin line), and Eterna takes charge of making Porsche Designs' watches. Regardless, some of these watches are still made, and good deal of them from about 15-30 years ago are still around, highly collectible, and very cool. One wonderful example of this perfect relationship is the IWC Porsche Design Ref. 3551. A watch released years ago, but looking a modern as can be, this is one of the most modern and minimalist implementations of a moonphase complication. Nicely legible, with the moonphase on the top of the central cross hair design, the watch houses an ETA mechanical movement, and a little secret.Open the case upwards and the watch reveals an analog compass located underneath. A designer somewhere thought this was a very cool idea. And sure, flipping your watch up
Let's see some Chrono Superocean pictures!
The Breitling Chrono Superocean is a watch that was on my mind a while back. Having spent a lot of my time obsessing over Rolex I feel long over due for some variety, change and a true tool watch to keep the rest of my life. This watch has some neat features that are fairly useful and never owning an Automatic Chronograph in the past it seems the only way to go! Was always a huge fan of aviation or wanting to fly from the time I was a kid and also love the ocean and dive watches. This watch seems to have everything desired in one great looking package! Not to mention this brand has an excellent history behind them. What are pre owned prices like currently on this? Seems as if Breitling in general has some great deals due to the initial depreciation. I am leaning more towards the Blue dial on the polished Pro II bracelet Anyway, let's see some pictures of these great watches! I will start things off:From - breitlingsource
5164a or 5164r
Hello, everyone, I will have my 5712a and 5711r in this summer, I want one tropical rubber for my sports collection. Which do you think is a better combination, 5164a or 5164r? I want it as my daily watch.
SD 43 running 11 sec. slow in 24hr period, anyone know any tricks before RSC?
SD 43 running very slow, started noticing it about a week ago and tracking it. Does anyone have any tricks to try before giving up and sending to RSC? - Hate going through that process, but obviously 11 seconds slow is bad....
