Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver Titanium
Ulysse Nardin’s Maxi Marine Diver Titanium is the newest addition to the Maxi Marine Diver collection. The skin-friendly case measures 45 mm in diameter with a unidirectional rotating bezel in either 18 carat rose gold or stainless steel. The wave-patterned dial supports applied luminous indexes. The black, wave-patterned rubber strap has rose gold or titanium elements bearing the UN anchor logo. The exhibition case-back offers an excellent view of the C.O.S.C.-certified movement and its ruthenium colored rotor. This watch features a power reserve indicator at 12 and an oversized small seconds register with date at 6. The MMD Ti is water-resistant to 200 meters. Each case is individually numbered.
Let's have some fun with our Speedmasters . . .
So, I was looking over my recently purchased Speedmaster Date and using the chronograph function. I was also testing to see that it comes up to exactly top-dead-center when I reset the chronograph. Sure enough, it resets perfectly. So, then I wanted to see exactly when the chronograph minute hand clicked over registering the minute count. After a couple of tests, I found that that if I stopped the second hand at 59 1/4 second, it appeared the minute counter hand was just starting to move. The minute counter hand would complete its click-over somewhere between 59 1/2 and 59 3/4 seconds (each second has 1/4 second marks). This seems fine to me, but I was wondering if other Speedmasters (I understand that the movement in the Pro is different from the Date) had click-over at different points. Besides, this will give you an excuse to play with your Speedy.
Proud Owner of an Omega
My first ever Omega, and my first ever watch that cost over $2000. .omegawatches/index.ph...s=1&no_cache=1I will take pics and post later. Honestly, I was saving up for a Rolex SD but when I checked this out, I was in love instantly. Bought it spanking new from the boutique in NYC. Great service, and reasonably priced. I know an Omega won't hold its value like a Rolex but I'm not buying to sell. However, will still save up for a Rolex.Does anyone else own this watch here?
5167 bracelet removal.. Help pls...
I need to replace the strap on my 5167. Was too agressive on the sizing and warmer weather has already shown me the error of my ways.Having a devil of a time getting the strap off, and afraid I'll scratch up the lugs or case. I am using a bergeon 6825 with fine forks - is there a better tool for this job? Maybe I just lack patience & fine motor skills. Any tips/tricks from fellow owners/others would be greatly appreciated. Going to have another go at it this weekend when I have more time. Thanks!
Sub No Date V Tudor Black Bay
So how do we justify spending the difference, and choosing to buy a 114060 Rolex Submariner No Date? Here is the answer?.ablogtowatch/rolex-su...ck-bay-review/For what it is worth, I did before I read this, it just confirmed that I had made the right choice?
