Monochrome Monday: Introducing The Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium
Audemars Piguet has improved the annual calendar so that it almost becomes a perpetual calendar. That might sound strange, but we'll explain. This new calendar is function makes its debut in the?Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium. (The name is Latin for a quadrennium, which?is a four-year period.) The watch also features the famous AP escapement, making for an altogether interesting timepiece. The Audemars Piguet Millenary has always been a rather oddly shaped timepiece, often chosen by collectors who are drawn to the elegant, oval case, with its beautiful, alternating satin-brushed and polished finishing and stepped lugs. Millenary watches always features an off-center dial, which was probably most notable on the magnificent Millenary Star Wheel that we reviewed extensively on Monochrome Watches. The new Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium has a large off-center dial for the hours, minutes, date, month and day of the week, along with a small subdial for the running seconds.
AP lover ?
I own some AP watches now, one of them is Diver. 2 days ago I just bought 5980 bracelet. Im wearing it 2 days straight and today Change to the diver. And i realized that I love this diver more then my new 5980. The feel, the size everything. I think AP is my watch. But I still gonna keep the 5980 because it's Patek , I have to own one.
Need help with Valuation
Hi Guys,Back in '05 I bought my first nice watch, and it was a Breitling. Well, I have sizably increased my collection and it is time to let some go. The Breitling is one of them. It just does not get worn anymore and I would like for someone else to enjoy it. My only issue is I don't know how much to ask for it. It is a Navitimer with the crown on the left side. They were a limited edition of 1000.I have seen prices as high as $5200 but I think that is too high. They do not come up very frequently so it is hard to gauge what fair value is so I am looking to the experts here.I have all the B&P that came as new. Thanks you all for your help.

Green Submariner
I purchased this green sub, the bracelet has the tin can type feel to it, but it looks like the markings, etc. are legitimate. Then I noticed on the inside of the bezel (inside the case), there is no rolex markings, just silver/stainless which threw up a flag. The second hand has the Rolex sweeping movement. Can you help me determine if I need to send this back? Is it real?IMG_4212.jpgIMG_4211.jpgIMG_4207.jpgIMG_4206.jpgIMG_4205.jpg
