INCOMING...back in AP....should have never left!!
Well after selling an AP diver about two years ago, I have been thinking about another AP for some time. I bought this off a forum member, Sal, who was amazing to deal with, it's a J series, July 2017 watch, man, is this thing ever stunning. The quality and the finish is to admire. I am officially in love again with AP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
15300 or 15202?
I love both, have a hard time when there is no second hand, but the 15202 just looks and feels amazing, the blue dial surpasses the 15300 blue IMO, the rotor is very nice too. What are the differences between the 2 movements?Am I wrong or is the 15300 using a modified JLC and the 15202 a in-house movement?Saw just the Jumbo in real, not the 15300, for those who know both can you tell me the differences between them? I understand they are tiny but am sure there are some. The 15300 is quite hard to get but I found one for 9.900 euros in excellent condition, serviced not long ago, whereas the Jumbo I can find for around 15.000 euros, retail is 17K.Is it worth putting 5K in euros not dollars, more to get the Jumbo?I feel that at 9.900 in the unlikely case I would want to flip it I would probably sell for the same price, don't know about the Jumbo, I guess in excellent condition it would be 13.500.Tomorrow my PP is arriving, thought of getting my Hulk and later the AP, but think will do the c
Has My new speedy got a proble?
Hi. I hope somebody reading this can enlighten me a little. My new Speedmaster that I picked up a week ago which has the 9300 movement fitted seems to have a stiff rotor, it seems to revolve in quarter revolutions and the stop, then I turn the watch a little more and is revolves another quarter turn etc. It seems not to revolve so freely as my other Omegas (with see through backs) and the 3313 movement fitted they really spin around. There is also a little noise when it spins around. but again the Cal 3313 does not have this. It is keeping good time though. Is this how this new movement is or should I take it back for Omega to look at. I have waited so long for this watch I am reluctant to lose it for a month or so if there is nothing to worry about . Thanks guys. Alan
My Omega Dynamic
Hi everyone!I am new to this forum, please be gentle with me!I just started to get into watches this year, both my parents own Rolex and one or two others.I got my first automatic watch earlier this year, which is an Oris Big Crown. That really got me interested and recently I have picked up new-old-stock Omega Dynamic, which I totally love!I would like to know more about the Dynamic, such as it's history and what kind of movement it uses (mine is a lady automatic), etc.Thank you for reading this I look forward to hear from you
Future improvements to SubC
Hi folks, not sure if this has been discussed before, but what are members' opinions on where Rolex will go to improve on the current Submariner?Slightly more sculpted lugs similar to new SD? Dial print in different colour? Bezel pearl more streamlined?Lets get some of your ideas here!
