Watches NEWS
The new Cartier watch is mounted on a light grey brushed canvas strap
The timekeeper focuses on the essential: displaying the hours and minutes. Animating these functions is a quartz movement. The watch boasts 30-meter water-resistance.The new Cartier watch is mounted on a light grey brushed canvas strap. It is equipped with an adjustable folding clasp, done in 18 carat rhodium-plated white gold.
ROC for RO 15450
The clasp of the ROC does not conform well to my wrist due to the single fold clasp. Because of my small wrist, the clasp is is not centered and juts out a bit.It also leaves a mark on my wrist and not comfortable. In the same situation, would you trade or sell the ROC for a 15450?
Omega Cons quartz chrono d/d
I have a Constellation quartz day/date chronometer (this has a larger case than the non-chrono). This is the watch with the day and date displayed by 2 circular dials within the main dial. I can't get the day and date both in phase. If I get the date to switch over at midnight, the day is 180 degrees out of phase. In fact, with the date changing at noon, the day changes at about 7 pm. Is there a quick-set feature for the day that I am missing? On the first stop of the crown, the date changes when rotating the crown cc, but the opposite direction of rotation does nothing.
Quick Question about my Speedy
Is it bad to have the chrono second hand stopped at a position other than 0 (rest) for an extended period of time?I like to leave the second hand on 8 when I wear it but I am always resetting it to zero at the end of the day. I do this because I like to have an unobstructed view of the dial and because 8 is my lucky number. So is it putting unnecessary strain on the movement to leave the chrono stopped at a certain point with the brake engaged? Thanks in advance.
Would you trade a ceramic GMT and DJII 41mm for a SD43?
I'm not saying I have this proposition in front of me, but I potentially could. Thoughts?
