Triple Threat: Audemars Piguet’s Tradition Tourbillon Minute Repeater Chronograph
To many watch fans, Audemars Piguet is all about the Royal Oak, its iconic octagonal sports watch. However, the family-owned Swiss brand also wowed aficionados of haute horlogerie at this year’s SIHH with its incredibly complicated and extremely limited Tradition Tourbillon Minute Repeater Chronograph, inspired by a vintage timepiece from the 1920s. The watch’s cushion-shaped case takes its design cues from that of a vintage pocketwatch that currently resides in Audemars Piguet’s private museum, located in the brand’s longtime hometown of Le Brassus, Switzerland. Inside the case is a proprietary caliber that combines three major horological functions, a chronograph, tourbillon regulator, and minute repeater. New F.P. Journe Book and Exhibit Celebrate Historic Gunmetal Watches
Most of the watches that Francois-Paul Journe produces for his independent brand are anything but “proletarian:” most come in gold or platinum cases and have movement parts made of 18k rose gold. However, Journe’s newest publishing project, “Steel Time,” celebrates the classic burnished steel “gunmetal” watches of the mid- to late 19th century and how they made timepieces accessible to the masses. “Steel Time” is written by vintage-watch experts Jean Claude Sabrier and Georges Rigot. I have a dilemma. I need to sell a watch but I don't know which to keep. I have PO 8500, Rolex Explorer and Sub C. I want to sell either my AT 8500 or SMP Ceramic. If you had these watches, which would you keep? Thanks

Is this a little fault with my PP 5711?
I don't mean to carry on this trend with spotting Patek faults guys;I think I may be paranoid with this one, i'm not sure.Pretty much the first few days handling a PP for that matter.Notice you can't hack the seconds hand, and it sort of moves a bit when changing the time. The seconds hand is exactly on the 12 o clock position, but the minute hand is not correctly pointed on 40 minutes.15 seconds later it is aligned correctly.With pics.Well...

Just wondering any one know why the sudden increase of grey prices from ?7600 ish now hitting ?9500? in the UKdealers are still taking deliveries, limited stock and supply is still the same as it has been, but the last 2 months the grey prices gone crazy or should i say greedy prices?or do they know something we dont?
