TAG Heuer Focuses on Caliber 1887, Delays Launch of Carrera CH80
If you’re anticipating the release of the announced release of the new TAG Heuer Carrera CH80 chronograph, you will need to wait a bit longer. TAG Heuer has announced today it has decided to focus on the production of a single chronograph movement, Caliber CH1887, launched in 2010.The result of this move is that TAG Heuer is postponing the launch of the Carrera CH80 chronograph �� announced at Baselworld 2014 and covered in depth here by our colleagues at Monochrome Watches �� even though the company has completed the development of the movement that powers it (called Caliber 1969 in its development stage). TAG Heuer refers to the new strategy as an “optimization of production,” which will allow for increased synergies in its production process, including the grouping of all movement manufacturing activities in TAG Heuer’s new facility in Chevenez, in the Swiss Jura, which opened in November 2013. Anybody gotten a "partial maintenance" from an Omega Service Center?
Hey all, I have a few Seamasters that are keeping good time but have an unknown service history. Full overhauls seem unnecessary and I was thinking of going the partial maintenance route for some peace of mind.Has anybody here gotten a partial service from an Omega Service Center, and if so how was your experience/wait time? Decision made... And here it is!!!
I think this is the longest it has taken me to decide on a watch.... I mean there are so many different options available and they are all great! So finally it came down to what suited my personality best... and I am glad I took the time to really decide on it... So here it is... :c lap: I am in love with this dial... Urge to flip my 312
I try to wear my one and only PAM a week out of the month in rotation. But at most it's been about 4 to 5 days out of the month. However I'm starting to feel the urge that I need to flip it as it is very mint condition still. The top heaviness of the 1950 case I've gotten used to so there are no regrets on size. The PAM 292 rad looks appealing so does a 216570 exp 2 with black dial (I have a 16570 polar though). Also I can just use the proceeds to go towards a TT black MOP DJ my wife hinted as a push present. Is this a normal feeling? Secondary market doesn't look very good for PAMs, so I'm looking at a little bit of a loss if I decide to flip. What do you think?Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk
