Watches NEWS
AP Marketing??
I was 1 month ago in the AP boutique in Paris, and asked to see the 15202, the lady told me that they didn't have any, that it was practically impossible to get, that they had 95 clients on waiting list, that basically they were going to have 2-3 this year, and wanted me to look at some chronos, I said I didn't want to see any other watch, she insisted, I started to turn around, and then all of a sudden she told me that they had one which was reserved that she could show me.Does anyone know if this story of the huge waiting list and microscopic quantities delivered to AD's is true or is it just to try to make people buy other models which are not so much in demand as the 15202?The retail price in Europe is 19.500 euros, and looking on Chrono24 I found a few BNIB for less, and of course without the waiting list, maybe it's the fact that I parked my Harley Davidson in front of the boutique, she thought I didn't know anything about watches, don't know much but still I have a little knowle
Waiting is not fun!
The grey dealer is on vacation till sunday,so i'm in hope he calls me monday(or i call him) to say that my15400 blue is there,if someone will make me smille with a shot off this beauty, feel free
A 2008 model year Omega has which 2500 movement? A,B,C,D?
I was looking to purchase a brand new in box Omega 42mm on bracelet at an awesome price. I was wondering if it contains the 2500C, 2500B, or 2500D movement? Are there any particular years that Omega modified the movement? The reason I ask is because I heard the later letter codes after the movement (ex. 2500D) are more reliable and have better technology involved. Thanks!
A client gave me a gift
.omegawatches/spirit/l...h-time/summaryOne of my clients surprised me with a gift this week - Omega's Journey Through Time compendium! I was blown away, it was such a kind gesture on his part and a staggering book for an Omega buff. I highly recommend it if you were considering picking it up. It's 800 pages, 10 pounds, and illustrated to the extreme. Very little text, mostly images of watches, components, advertising and props. The scope is ridiculous, I've never seen ANY watch book cover as many models and variations from a single company.
Help! Need help on deciding my one and only Rolex
Hi All,I currently own a PAM 372, 422 and a Tudor Heratige Black Bay Bronze. I want to get ONE Rolex to wear in rotation with my other pieces. I would most likely be replacing one of the Panerai's with a Rolex as both the 372 and 422 are so similar and the same size. I need some input on what you all think. The Rolex's that I'm considering are-Submariner Date (new)Sea Dweller 126600 (new)Or maybe a GMTII (also new but just the SS version-not BLNR)Thank you all in advance!
