Hi TRF,I've been dreaming about the day I can share with you my first AP! Been lurking around this site for over a year and finally created an account so I could reach out to this seller to buy his watch. K3vin, thank you for a pleasant transaction. You were patient, honest, and an all around cool guy. Glad to have met up with you because it seems like we have tons in common. The watch: NIB AP Royal 15450ST with the silver dial. The 15400ST silver dial was the first AP I've tried on in 2013. It was gorgeous but a bit big for my wrist. It wasn't until K3vin posted the 15450ST for sale that I knew there was a smaller version. After reading every single thread on TRF about the 15450, it became more apparent that this is the watch for me and I needed to check it out. Well here it is. Images are attached. PAM 320 durability? help!
I'm about to purchase a watch, either a pam320 or a rolex submariner. I like the submariner but the pam sings to me more. This will be my first watch. I plan on purchasing the one in the not so distant future. What's holding me back is the durability of the in house movement, P9XXX series. What's your feedback on it?I like how the submariner has this durable 3135 movement but do you think it's all marketing? Is the pam movement as durable as the 3135? I just dont like that the pam320 does not have a perpetual calendar.
