AP Online warranty extension
Hi! Just wanted to make anyone who wasn't aware you can now extend the warranty of your AP online now on their website. I wasn't aware of this until my AD told me the other day and also new watches now come with 5 years warranty (providing you extend the warranty online).I managed to extend mine even though I bought it preowned on eBay, you can also register the watch under your AP user account which I think is pretty neat.
Basel World 2018
Hey guys,Does anyone have some info about new PP models being realsed at this years expo? Longing for a new steel Nautilus ^^
Yet another .... Incoming First Panerai Thread
I'm new to the brand and I must say I had great pleasure in unboxing this beauty. I think Rolex could well learn a lesson in presentation even though I quickly discard / chuck the boxes in a cupboard until flipping time!!I always liked the quirky look of the Luminor models due to the crown guards but I never really paid attention in any detail to the brand due to the seemingly endless repetitive models and confusing model numbering. Every time I've seen a model I like etc there was always some feature on it that I disliked (along with price) e.g. power reserve displays, painted dials, date, wrong case size etc. I'm still on the fence about the seconds dial although the 422 model was a close contender when I narrowed down my list!!!After seeing pics of a few base models it persuaded me to revisit Panerai however I was still not really convinced etc until I came across the 372 which on certain straps looked stunning on various forum pictures!Looking at the specs it seemed to tick all
First purchase help
Hey everyone, first off I want to thank all of you for the enormous amount of knowledge I've acquired over the last couple of weeks being part of the community. I plan to purchase my first Rolex in 6-9 months. I want to be absolutely sure I pick a watch that I love and know it is the right decision. I am in between a black Sub with date and Yachtmaster with rhodium dial.My thoughts on the two are as follows:Sub: can't go wrong with it and is abolsutey timeless and classic. I see myself getting one disregard if it is my first purchase or not.Yachtmaster: still timeless and gorgeous, but also has the interesting appeal because you don't see those everyday.I've always said I wanted a sub (even when I was in college), but then saw the Yachtmaster and thought oh wow that's what I want. Now I am torn in between the two.Would love to hear everyone's pros and cons and what their ultimate decision would be!Thanks!
Incoming: ceramic Daytona
As a follow up to my other thread regarding my (only) 8 month wait, i picked up my Daytona this morning. I could've had my choice of color when i ordered, but i wanted black - classic look and is a perfect partner to my Mitsukoshi Speedmaster.Such a beautiful piece. Hard to imagine anything else is my collection is going to be getting any wrist time in the near future...As for policies, procedures, etc. My dealer basically handed me the watch in the plastic shipping container - untouched by anyone, even them. I could have walked right out and they wouldn't have cared. However, I opened it up, took the stickers off and had them remove a link. They filled out the warranty card and activated it. No mention of any directive from Rolex to de-sticker, photocopy my ID and warranty card, etc. so ymmv on that. Here is it:
