Tried out the Moonwatch today. First impression
I have no experience with the Moonwatch but thought I share my first impression. Is the vintage look that I love about this watch! Not a fan of the metal band. Nato band would look awesome for the causal days.I am a bit shock at the price tag! I close to Subc price~Overall, I have to admit, it is not as exciting as trying out a new Rolex. My view only, other may not agree. I will look for a used moonwatch over new one I think. :)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Vintage Bracelet Help
I have an old Seamaster Automatic that is currently on a worn leather band. I would like to source an original beads of rice two-tone. Any idea where this could be gotten? Aftermarket would be ok but I would prefer an original. thanks.
I was at my AD ...
Here's the impulse purchase. I knew I shouldn't have started to read the posts in this section of the forums! This watch is perfect on the wrist!!!
Rolex Explorer 39mm or subc Nd
Got the Okay from the wife to get a new Rolex...next year. Should I go with the Explorer 39mm or subc Nd. I like how the Explorer flys under the radar. I'm afraid I would crack the bezel on the sub. I have a breitling with a bezel full of scratches and gouges and afraid the ceramic would crack.
116610 Made to Look Like 116613
I bought a two-tone Sub on ebay (mistake). It was listed as a 116613LB. The pics showed a 116613LN, which is what I wanted. When I got it, I took the bracelet off and saw the 116610 model number. So, apparently the bezel and bracelet were swapped out. I have no idea if the bezel and bracelet are real or aftermarket, but they appear to be real. But how does this affect the value of the watch? It's certainly not as it left the factory, so will RSC even work on it?
