Dark Side of the Moon strap?
Hello all!I recently acquired the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon and while I love it to bits, I've been thinking about another strap - black like the original but one that has red contrast stitching that's visible on both sides of the strap. The original Omega strap has red stitching but only on the underside, which I thought was a bit of a waste. If anyone can recommend anything, I'd appreciate it. Thanks all! Max
A difference in the Omega Discussion area...
Maybe I'm alone here, but has anyone else noticed a bit of a shift inthe Rolex discussion forum? It used to be a very friendly, classy place...Lately there seems to be a lot of angry, inflammatory bickering posts and responses...seems like the mods are working overtime..I'm finding myself over here on the Omega sub forum more often...I'm sure that I am probably reading too much into it, and probably getting a selection Bias based on the threads I choose to read, but I feel that over here (the Omega group), the focus is still on the mutual love and appreciation for the timepieces...It just seems friendlier here - Anyone else notice the same??(Bonus Poll:how many posts until someone tells me to go *&^% myself?)
GMT help!
About to pull the trigger on a GMT II (16710) and am seriously torn between two watches. Black bezel 16710 in good condition (7/10) with box & papersPepsi bezel 16720 in great condition (near NOS) with current RSC (till 2020) and box with spare black bezel but no original papersThe Pepsi is 300 more.I'm looking for a Pepsi ideally but want a black bezel too to swap out occasionally (the lower price of the black is enough to buy a spare Pepsi bezel)Can't decide which to go for!
AP 26331 vs Rolex 116509
With a steel sub as the only other piece in your collection which would you opt for? Or is the answer simply to wait for a possible in-house movement in 2018 for the AP or a ceramic bezel on the Daytona? This is not a personal dilemma I am just curious what everyone would go for :). Don't forget to state why you made your choice in the discussion !
