Two Royal Oaks
On the way to LAX, I was looking at my 15400 SS white face and thinking if I can own two Royal Oaks, what kind of combination I will have?SS Basic + RG Chronograph orSS Chronograph + RG Basic ?And what color combinations they should? What's your suggestion? And why?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can anyone point me to a good watch buyer?
I have been unable to sell my 18k/SS Constellation 1212:30:00 for a decent price. All of the web buyers offer less than a third of MSRP. If anyone knows of a good source please PM me. Thanx.
Pp5960-01g-001
My AD received several new pieces and one that really caught my eye is the 5960/01G. The blue dial, red hand accents along with the brown strap gave it a very sharp but casual look (which I like and looking for). Why isn't though that there is not much love for the 5960 in general? Is it the production run time, combination with the AC complication, price point (I am not overly concerned about resale value) or other options that may be available with a chrono complication? I am seriously debating whether to look into this further and adding it to accompany my AP chronos or selling one/both and just have the PP as my chrono complication in my collection. Any insight would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My First Panerai!!
I have been loving Panerais since shortly after my Rolex Sub purchase 7 years ago from this forum (justrolexes, Tony). I was finally able to pull the trigger. I ended up with a PAM 1359.I was lucky enough to be able to try on both the 359 and 1359 before purchasing. I actually preferred the slightly thinner case and the ecru coloring on the dial on the 1359. The blue second hand is a nice touch too. This thing will not leave my wrist for a long time. A huge thank you to Addy616 for making the buying experience easy.
SD43 and Rolex Freak.
I will also post a piece in Who's Who but I would like to share my little story here also.I purchased an SD43 from Rolex Freak last week. The deal was seamless from start to finish with great communications and I could not have asked for a more accommodating or professional individual to buy from. The watch arrived at my home in the UK on Wednesday afternoon - less than an hour AFTER I had left to go to the airport to head back to work in Iraq for a month I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Sandro for his superb service.I now have 29 sleepless night to spend waiting for my baby......
