Introducing the Breitling Transocean Chronograph 1915, A Mono-Pusher Column Wheel Chrono With New In-House Caliber
While we're die-hard vintage Breitling fans, we can recognize good development when we see it. A couple of months ago we reported on the Breitling Transocean Chronograph. That model hankered for its roots and introduced a vintage theme and a simpler two-register layout. The new Transocean Chronograph?1915 takes that development?a step further by introducing a new dial design, new case and, most importantly, a new manufacture caliber.?The Transocean 1915 starts with a 43 mm by?14.6 mm case in polished stainless steel. Instead of applied indexes like its predecessor, the Transocean 1915 has printed Arabic numerals. Two registers, arabic numerals and a push piece at 2 o'clock-many?HODINKEE readers should be thinking "montbrillant" (hence 1915, before Breitling introduced the second pusher in the '30s). 2 OF 3 Naturally, we could do without the date, but the narrow window doesn't seem to distract from the dial as much as date windows can. Speedmaster Triple Date
So, what is the deal with these Triple Date watches?Nice looking watches and lots of complications for the price, but are they reliable? Are they tough to maintain? Also, it would be an occasional watch in the rotation and is it a pain to reset if it runs out of steam?Any input appreciated from the Omega community. Thanks!

New Rolex Daytona purchase
I have just completed the first part of a transaction that will see me purchasing a T/T 2018 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White MOP eight Diamonds Dial. I have just Sold a T/T 2017 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White Dial with Gold Sub Dials. I received a good price for it 9,750 GBP though I didn't sell it to the shop where I bought it less that a year ago, they were unable to pay me what I was looking for. So I sold it elsewhere, but I will be purchasing the new Daytona from the Dealer where I buy all my Watches which is a Grey Dealer in the North of England. They are exceptional when it comes to price. The new Daytona I am purchasing was priced at 14,565 GBP but because I am a regular customer they reduced it by 65 GBP which was very good of them. So the new Watch is costing me 14,500 GBP which is about 18,000 Dollars. I will be flying from my Country to Manchester UK at the end of May to pay the balance owed & collect my new Watch. I am very excited about this, hopefully
