Lost Deployment Clasp Button 15202
I noticed this evening that one of my deployment clasp buttons had fallen off.Does anyone have experience getting this replaced at AP?I'm hoping for a quick in-house fix and not a 3 month turn-around to Florida for such a small part...Any thoughts?unnamed.jpg

A friend of mine inherited a PP 3800 from his grandfather but was never told the value of the watch. he didn't realize what he had until it stopped working and he had to send it in for a rather expensive service, via his local AD, around 4 years ago.He did not wear it much after that, but when he thought of selling it he took it out of the drawer and it wasn't working again. Sent it back to Patek via the AD and did another full service. Not being a watch person, he's ready to get rid of it due to the service expense.I am considering buying the watch from him but thought it would be interesting to have the history of the watch. I have heard stories where Patek was able to dig into their archives and pull old papers from the watch, where it was purchased, service history, etc. Thought it would be neat to have all of that on a vintage piec

Hey guys, I'm new to the panerai forum, and was looking for some help. In the past, I wasn't very interested in panerai, as most models I had seen were too big and/or too thick for my taste. However, I came across the 512 online, and was curious if others either purchased or tried on that reference, and what sort of impressions you had. Sports watches I have or had include a pp 5711, pp 5167, omega speedmaster, daytona 16520, gmt 1675, exp 16570, etc, so any comparison in reference to those pieces could be helpful.

Dial options for Yellow Gold Daytona on Oysterflex?
The Rolex website only shows one option for YG Daytonas on Oysterflex:But I swear I've seen at least two other variants on the forum: one all black dial, and another black with yellow subdials (panda style). Do those exist? Did owners just happen to stumble upon those dial options at an AD, or were they custom orders?It's frustrating that Rolex don't show all options on the site, especially as seeing a Daytona at an AD is a near-impossibility these days.
